5 Step Custom Process

 

5 Thirteen Designs is thrilled to work with you on any invitation, from the effortless to the extravagant. Our easy process will guide you on your project from start to finish, all while knowing what to expect along the way. We want this to be an exciting and fun process for you, so here’s how it works:

Step 1: Complimentary Consultation with 5 Thirteen Designs

During your design consultation we will discuss your theme, color scheme, and any special additions you would like to incorporate in your invitation. You would be surprised where you can find inspiration, so if you love it, we can work with it! We’ll also stay within your budget and choose the perfect design to best suite your wedding. In addition to your custom invitation set, 5 Thirteen Designs can work with you to create other stationery pieces such thank you cards, menus, escort cards, programs and favor tags to complete your package.

Step 2: Project Estimate and Contract

After your consultation, you will be provided with an estimate and design timeline based on your needs. At this point, if you decide to move forward with us, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit to begin the design and production process.

Step 3: The 5 Thirteen Design Process

During the design process you will receive digital proofs via e-mail for your review. The first proof includes options that incorporate what was discussed at your consultation. At this point, you will be able to send any comments and revisions that will be incorporated in the next round of drafts. Up to three revisions are included before your final design is submitted for your approval.

Step 4: Digital Final Proof & Production

The last digital proof will be provided for your final approval prior to going to press. We want to ensure everything is perfect, so check thoroughly for grammar, spelling and typos. 5 Thirteen Designs is not held responsible for any revisions following the final approval. When going to press, the final invoice will be provided and full payment is due.

Step 5: Delivery of Custom Invitations

The printing process begins after we receive your final approval and payment. Depending on the size of the project please allow 2-4 weeks from final approval for printing and production. You will then receive your complete and personalized set of custom invitations!
